JAMEY STAUB: Selected Discography as of 1/1/2008 Jamey Staub has been making records for twenty years. He has experience in many different styles of music, from jazz to hip-hop to rock. In his work with Pete Rock, Everlast, A Tribe Called Quest, Incubus, Luscious Jackson, Crash Test Dummies, and many others, Jamey blends the street energy and rhythmic drive of hip hop with rock-inspired songcraft and guitars. Best known for his mixing, Jamey is also an experienced producer, programmer, remixer and sound designer, and is very experienced with microphones and analog recording, as well as Logic Audio and Protools. He has written, recorded and mixed a number of movie soundtracks, done sound design for ABC sports and is actively writing songs with such artists as Sopie Ellis-Bextor and Fred Schneider. Jamey has recently mixed several tracks for Willie Nile's critically acclaimed album "Streets of New York." He recorded and co-produced three tracks for Alice Smith, newly signed to Epic Records. He also designed and built a project studio for Pete Rock, where they did all of the recording for Pete's new release "New York's Finest." Jamey has also been very busy developing unsigned acts such as Pin Me Down and Honeycomb.
